Mark 14:26–28

26 When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

27 “You will all fall away,” Jesus told them, “for it is written:

“ ‘I will strike the shepherd,

and the sheep will be scattered.’

28 But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

26 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. 27 And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered. 28 But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.

26 Then they sang a hymn and went out to the Mount of Olives.

27 On the way, Jesus told them, “All of you will desert me. For the Scriptures say,

‘God will strike the Shepherd,

and the sheep will be scattered.’

28 But after I am raised from the dead, I will go ahead of you to Galilee and meet you there.”

26 And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

27 Then Jesus said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written:

‘I will strike the Shepherd,

And the sheep will be scattered.’

28 “But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee.”

26 After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

27 Then Jesus told the followers, “You will all stumble in your faith, because it is written in the Scriptures:

‘I will kill the shepherd,

and the sheep will scatter.’

28 But after I rise from the dead, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

26 And when they had sung a hymn, they went out unto the mount of Olives.

27 And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered abroad. 28 Howbeit, after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.

27 Then Jesus said to them, “All of you will abandon me. Scripture says, 

‘I will strike the shepherd, 

and the sheep will be scattered.’ 

28 “But after I am brought back to life, I will go to Galilee ahead of you.”

27 Then Jesus said to them, “All of you will run away, because it is written:

I will strike the shepherd,

and the sheep will be scattered.

28 But after I have been resurrected, I will go ahead of you to Galilee.”

27 “You will all turn away,” Jesus told the disciples. “It is written,

“ ‘I will strike the shepherd down.

Then the sheep will be scattered.’

28 But after I rise from the dead, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”
