Luke 19:27–29

27 But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.’ ”

28 After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. 29 As he approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them,

27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

28 And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem. 29 And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,

27 And as for these enemies of mine who didn’t want me to be their king—bring them in and execute them right here in front of me.’ ”

28 After telling this story, Jesus went on toward Jerusalem, walking ahead of his disciples. 29 As he came to the towns of Bethphage and Bethany on the Mount of Olives, he sent two disciples ahead.

27 But bring here those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, and slay them before me.’ ”

28 When He had said this, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. 29 And it came to pass, when He drew near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mountain called Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples,

27 Now where are my enemies who didn’t want me to be king? Bring them here and kill them before me.’ ”

28 After Jesus said this, he went on toward Jerusalem. 29 As Jesus came near Bethphage and Bethany, towns near the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent out two of his followers.

27 But these mine enemies, that would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

28 And when he had thus spoken, he went on before, going up to Jerusalem.

29 And it came to pass, when he drew nigh unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount that is called Olivet, he sent two of the disciples,

27 Moreover those mine enemies, who would not have me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them before me.

28 And having said these things, he went on before, going up to Jerusalem. 29 And it came to pass as he drew near to Bethphage and Bethany at the mountain called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,

27 Bring my enemies, who didn’t want me to be their king. Kill them in front of me.’ ” 

28 After Jesus had given this illustration, he continued on his way to Jerusalem. 

29 When he came near Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives (as it was called), Jesus sent two of his disciples ahead of him.

27 But bring here these enemies of mine, who did not want me to rule over them, and slaughter them in my presence.’ ”

28 When He had said these things, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. 29 As He approached Bethphage and Bethany, at the place called the Mount of Olives, He sent two of the disciples

29 When he had come near Bethphage and Bethany, at the place called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of the disciples,

28 And after he had said these things, he traveled on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. 29 And it happened that when he drew near to Bethphage and Bethany, to the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of the disciples,

27 And what about my enemies who did not want me to be king over them? Bring them here! Kill them in front of me!’ ”

28 After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead. He was going up to Jerusalem.

29 He approached Bethphage and Bethany. The hill there was called the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent out two of his disciples. He said to them,

27 “But these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence.”

28 After He had said these things, He was going on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
