Luke 19:14–15

14 But rhis citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’ 15 When he returned, having received the kingdom, he ordered these servants to whom he had given the money to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by doing business.

Luke 19:14–15 — The New International Version (NIV)

14 But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’

15 He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.
