Job 10:3–6 — The New International Version (NIV)
3 Does it please you to oppress me,
to spurn the work of your hands,
while you smile on the plans of the wicked?
4 Do you have eyes of flesh?
Do you see as a mortal sees?
5 Are your days like those of a mortal
or your years like those of a strong man,
6 that you must search out my faults
and probe after my sin—
Job 10:3–6 — King James Version (KJV 1900)
3 Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress,
That thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands,
And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?
4 Hast thou eyes of flesh?
Or seest thou as man seeth?
5 Are thy days as the days of man?
Are thy years as man’s days,
6 That thou inquirest after mine iniquity,
And searchest after my sin?
Job 10:3–6 — New Living Translation (NLT)
3 What do you gain by oppressing me?
Why do you reject me, the work of your own hands,
while smiling on the schemes of the wicked?
4 Are your eyes like those of a human?
Do you see things only as people see them?
5 Is your lifetime only as long as ours?
Is your life so short
6 that you must quickly probe for my guilt
and search for my sin?
Job 10:3–6 — The New King James Version (NKJV)
3 Does it seem good to You that You should oppress,
That You should despise the work of Your hands,
And smile on the counsel of the wicked?
4 Do You have eyes of flesh?
Or do You see as man sees?
5 Are Your days like the days of a mortal man?
Are Your years like the days of a mighty man,
6 That You should seek for my iniquity
And search out my sin,
Job 10:3–6 — New Century Version (NCV)
3 Does it make you happy to trouble me?
Don’t you care about me, the work of your hands?
Are you happy with the plans of evil people?
4 Do you have human eyes
that see as we see?
5 Are your days like the days of humans,
and your years like our years?
6 You look for the evil I have done
and search for my sin.
Job 10:3–6 — American Standard Version (ASV)
3 Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress,
That thou shouldest despise the work of thy hands,
And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?
4 Hast thou eyes of flesh?
Or seest thou as man seeth?
5 Are thy days as the days of man,
Or thy years as man’s days,
6 That thou inquirest after mine iniquity,
And searchest after my sin,
Job 10:3–6 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)
3 Doth it please thee to oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thy hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked? 4 Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth? 5 Are thy days as the days of a mortal? are thy years as a man’s days, 6 That thou searchest after mine iniquity, and inquirest into my sin;
Job 10:3–6 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)
3 What do you gain by mistreating me,
by rejecting the work of your hands
while you favor the plans of the wicked?
4 Do you actually have human eyes?
Do you see as a mortal sees?
5 Are your days like a mortal’s days?
Are your years like a human’s years?
6 Is that why you look for guilt in me
and search for sin in me?
Job 10:3–6 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
