Jesus and Peter

15 When they had ufinished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, vSimon, wson of John, xdo you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, Feed ymy lambs.” 16 He said to him a second time, Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, zTend ymy sheep.”

John 21:15–16 — The New International Version (NIV)

15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”

“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”

Jesus said, Feed my lambs.”

16 Again Jesus said, Simon son of John, do you love me?”

He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”

Jesus said, Take care of my sheep.”
