2 Corinthians 11:16–17
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — The New International Version (NIV)
16 I repeat: Let no one take me for a fool. But if you do, then tolerate me just as you would a fool, so that I may do a little boasting. 17 In this self-confident boasting I am not talking as the Lord would, but as a fool.
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — King James Version (KJV 1900)
16 I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little. 17 That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — New Living Translation (NLT)
16 Again I say, don’t think that I am a fool to talk like this. But even if you do, listen to me, as you would to a foolish person, while I also boast a little. 17 Such boasting is not from the Lord, but I am acting like a fool.
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — The New King James Version (NKJV)
16 I say again, let no one think me a fool. If otherwise, at least receive me as a fool, that I also may boast a little. 17 What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as it were, foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — New Century Version (NCV)
16 I tell you again: No one should think I am a fool. But if you think so, accept me as you would accept a fool. Then I can brag a little, too. 17 When I brag because I feel sure of myself, I am not talking as the Lord would talk but as a fool.
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — American Standard Version (ASV)
16 I say again, Let no man think me foolish; but if ye do, yet as foolish receive me, that I also may glory a little. 17 That which I speak, I speak not after the Lord, but as in foolishness, in this confidence of glorying.
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)
16 Again I say, Let not any one think me to be a fool; but if otherwise, receive me then even as a fool, that I also may boast myself some little. 17 What I speak I do not speak according to the Lord, but as in folly, in this confidence of boasting.
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)
16 Again I say that no one should think that I’m a fool. But if you do, then take me for a fool so that I can also brag a little. 17 What I say as I start bragging is foolishness. It’s not something I would say if I were speaking for the Lord.
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
16 I repeat: No one should consider me a fool. But if you do, at least accept me as a fool, so I too may boast a little. 17 What I say in this matter of boasting, I don’t speak as the Lord would, but foolishly.
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
16 I repeat, let no one think that I am a fool; but if you do, then accept me as a fool, so that I too may boast a little. 17 What I am saying in regard to this boastful confidence, I am saying not with the Lord’s authority, but as a fool;
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)
16 Again I say, do not let anyone think I am foolish. But indeed, if you do, accept me even as foolish, in order that I also may boast a little. 17 What I am saying in this project of boasting, I am not saying as the Lord would say, but as in foolishness.
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)
16 I will say it again. Don’t let anyone think I’m a fool. But if you do, receive me just as you would receive a fool. Then I can do a little bragging.
17 When I brag about myself like this, I’m not talking the way the Lord would. I’m talking like a fool.
2 Corinthians 11:16–17 — New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (NASB95)

17 What I am saying, I am not saying as the Lord would, but as in foolishness, in this confidence of boasting.
