11 And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled his temple.

12 Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud;

11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord.

12 Then spake Solomon, The Lord said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

11 The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple of the Lord.

12 Then Solomon prayed, “O Lord, you have said that you would live in a thick cloud of darkness.

11 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.

12 Then Solomon spoke:

“The Lord said He would dwell in the dark cloud.

11 The priests could not continue their work, because the Temple was filled with the glory of the Lord.

12 Then Solomon said, “The Lord said he would live in a dark cloud.

11 so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the glory of Jehovah filled the house of Jehovah.

12 Then spake Solomon, Jehovah hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

11 and the priests could not stand to do their service because of the cloud; for the glory of Jehovah had filled the house of Jehovah.

12 Then said Solomon: Jehovah said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

11 The priests couldn’t serve because of the cloud. The Lord’s glory filled his temple. 

12 Then Solomon said, “The Lord said he would live in a dark cloud.

11 and because of the cloud, the priests were not able to continue ministering, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

12 Then Solomon said:

The Lord said that He would dwell in thick darkness.

11 so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.

12 Then Solomon said,

“The Lord has said that he would dwell in thick darkness.

11 The priests were not able to stand to minister because of the presence of the cloud, for the glory of Yahweh filled the house of Yahweh.

12 Then Solomon said, “Yahweh has said that he would dwell in the very thick cloud.

11 The priests couldn’t do their work because of it. That’s because the glory of the Lord filled his temple.

12 Then Solomon said, “Lord, you have said you would live in a dark cloud.

11 so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.

12 Then Solomon said,

“The Lord has said that He would dwell in the thick cloud.
