9 All the people will know it—

Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria—

who say with pride

and arrogance of heart,

9 And all the people shall know,

Even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria,

That say in the pride and stoutness of heart,

9 And the people of Israel and Samaria,

who spoke with such pride and arrogance,

will soon know it.

9 All the people will know—

Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria—

Who say in pride and arrogance of heart:

9 Then everyone in Israel, even the leaders in Samaria,

will know that God has sent it.

Those people are proud and brag by saying,

9 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in pride and in stoutness of heart,

9 And all the people shall know it, Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in pride and stoutness of heart,

9 All the people of Ephraim 

and the people who live in Samaria will know it. 

With arrogant and conceited hearts they will say, 

9 All the people—

Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria —will know it.

They will say with pride and arrogance:

9 and all the people knew it—

Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria—

but in pride and arrogance of heart they said:

9 And all of the people knew it,

Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria

in pride and arrogance of heart, saying,

9 All of the people will know about it.

Ephraim’s people and those who live in Samaria will know about it.

Their hearts are very proud.

They say,

9 And all the people know it,

That is, Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria,
