After these things, twhen the anger of King Ahasuerus had abated, he remembered Vashti uand what she had done and what had been decreed against her.

Esther 2:1 — The New International Version (NIV)

Later when King Xerxes’ fury had subsided, he remembered Vashti and what she had done and what he had decreed about her.
