3 But Naboth replied, “The Lord forbid that I should give you the inheritance of my ancestors.”

3 And Naboth said to Ahab, The Lord forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.

3 But Naboth replied, “The Lord forbid that I should give you the inheritance that was passed down by my ancestors.”

3 But Naboth said to Ahab, “The Lord forbid that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!”

3 Naboth answered, “May the Lord keep me from ever giving my land to you. It belongs to my family.”

3 And Naboth said to Ahab, Jehovah forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.

3 And Naboth said to Ahab, Jehovah forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to thee!

3 Naboth told Ahab, “The Lord has forbidden me to give you what I inherited from my ancestors.” 

3 But Naboth said to Ahab, “I will never give my fathers’ inheritance to you.”

3 But Naboth said to Ahab, “The Lord forbid that I should give you my ancestral inheritance.”

3 Naboth said to Ahab, “Far be it from me from Yahweh that I should give the inheritance of my ancestors to you.”

3 But Naboth replied, “May the Lord keep me from giving you the land my family handed down to me.”

3 But Naboth said to Ahab, “The Lord forbid me that I should give you the inheritance of my fathers.”
